A Little Somethin' For Nora

For the longest time I've been wanting to try my hand at writing my own patterns. After much self-encouragement, I finally bit the bullet and I'm so glad I did. I introduce to you the Sunshine Infinity Scarf. May not be a big deal to anyone else, but I'm pretty proud. It's a quick and easy weekend pattern and a lot of fun to make. Click on the picture to take you to my Ravelry page. Hope you enjoy!

Little Discoveries

While working out my next pattern, I started fooling around and came across a cool front post technique. I've not seen it in some of the research I've done but I'm certainly not going to claim it's creation. It's really quite simple to do and can be done with a number of different stitches. You get kind of a puffed ribbed, waffle affect that's fun and not to mention cute. You can see how to do it on my tutorial page.
Yay! I've written pattern #2. I've named it the Ellie Infinity Scarf since it reminds me of our granddaughter and her love of pink. I love the fluffy texture and can't wait to wear it when it cools outside. Click on the picture to take you to my Ravelry shop. I hope you like it.

Pattern #2!!!

Nora's cousin, Lola, is gonna be a stylin' little girl. I don't make things like this often as it's hard on my hands, but I really love making them when I get the chance. Click on the pics to take you to the patterns.
